Volunteers within the Events Department carry out the following duties:

• Carriage Steward

• Meet and Greet

• Crossing Supervisor

• On Train Characters

• Service Delivery

• Crowd Control

• First Aid

You will need to be friendly and enthusiastic as there is a high level of customer interaction involved within this role and therefore demonstrating exceptional customer service to ensure event success is important.

 

No specific level of fitness is required; however you should be prepared to be on your feet for a considerable period of time. Dress codes for this role vary dependent on each event but is generally white shirt, black trousers/skirt and black shoes.
